Video: Nicole Scherzinger makes her ‘Rent’ debut

Ex Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger made her musical debut in Rent on Friday night giving a sexy performance playing bisexual Maureen at Hollywood Bowl.

The cast are great!” Nicole Scherzinger said. “Hope ya have a blast with my Maureen. So blessed to be with such a beautiful cast!”

Rent is directed by Neil Patrick Harris and also stars Vanessa Hudgens. The musical is based on Giacomo Puccini’s opera La boheme.

Rent tells a story of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York’s Lower East Side in the thriving days of Bohemian Alphabet City, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS.

Before hitting the western coast, Rent had become one of the longest running Broadway shows in history.
