Vatican loves The Simpsons
While the Vatican thinks New Moon is deviant and strongly disapproves of Dan Brown’s Angels And Demons, TV veteran show The Simpsons gets the seal of approval from the Church for the way it deals with religion.
The Vatican’s newspaper L’Osservatore Romano praises the show’s authors for “realistic and intelligent writing” and for depicting Homer’s struggle with his own faith throughout the show.
Homer finds in God his last refuge, even though he sometimes gets His name sensationally wrong. But these are just minor mistakes, after all, the two know each other well,” the article reads.
According to the same article, but for The Simpsons “many today wouldn’t know how to laugh.”
I’m just curious what the Vatican thinks about South Park. Thoughts?

Wonder what the Pope would think about those crazy hooligans-Beavis and Butthead?
