Vanity Fair gets funny
It’s something brand new every spring. Vanity Fair presents its April issue dedicated to new American comedians who hold their heads up straight during tough times of the present.
In this original hilarious and 100% Vanity Fair untypical photoshoot the comedians like Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride, Jason Bateman, Amy Poehler, Will Arnett, Russell Brand, and Seth Rogen dress up to reprise their favorite characters. The editors call the folks “the Judd Apatow school of comedy.”
I love this photo made by renowned Annie Leibovitz. It’s great when people can mock themselves. Ms. Leibovitz can. This photo copies the Ford’s Foundation one she made with Scarlett Johansson and Keira Knightley for VF March 2006 issue.
Russell Brand looks amazing as Charlie Chaplin. Actually, I’ve never even thought he looks so much like Mr. Chaplin.
Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, I Love You, Man) is sensitively cite as silent-film comedian Buster Keaton. Black-and-white-shots are always so amazing, real silver screen art.
Can’t wait to know your thoughts about the new Vanity Fair issue.
