Top 5 Celebrity Bloggers
Celebrity blogs are a common thing these days. Most of them are extremely stupid crap-blogs.
MSNBC thought it’s important to recognize the original ones who opened up to their fans and who really communicates in order to say the truth or to deny rumors.
Here are their picks for top five:
1 Rosie O’Donnell
Back in the day, stars were restricted to interviews or statements from their PR peeps when they wanted to have their voices heard, but now, thanks to the blogosphere, they’re free to fire off their thoughts in real time. They can wax political, issue updates on their personal lives and chime in on their latest feud, and best of all, they can do it in the form of rambling haikus. Well, that last one is solely the domain of Rosie O’Donnell, who’s mastered the art of the entertaining-yet-difficult-to-decipher post on her R Blog. For a recent example, just take a look at her latest movie review:
today i saw burn after reading / BRAD PITT IS FREAKING HYSTERICAL / i had to squeeze my inner thighs / the whole 2 hours.”
2 Roseanne Barr
Domestic goddess-turned-near-constant-blogger Roseanne Barr needs two venues to broadcast her views on current events and popular culture. When she’s in the mood for planned political discourse, she heads to her Huffington Post page. When she’s feeling a little more free form, she hits Roseanne’s World — otherwise known as home of the good stuff (and the wacky stuff).
That’s where the comedienne lets loose and offers up jaw-dropping, unfiltered opinions on others in the biz. Her out-of-nowhere takes on the likes of Britney Spears, Oprah Winfrey and Brangelina are always worth a read.
3 Courtney Love
If readers are in the mood for brainteasers (and they can get past the constant potty mouth, massive run-on sentences and lack of line breaks), Courtney Love’s blog posts double as daily cryptograms. Half the fun is just trying to figure out the hidden message. What did Courtney mean when she asked
you cant have a taxpaying high net person allowed to have this happen to a minor child and a possible dead hero of your s and what about me?”
Your guess is as good as hers. Her roller coaster of emotions and varying levels of lucidity keep fans coming back for more.
4 Kanye West
One of the most prolific celebrity bloggers, Kanye West, updates Kanye University with photos of art, fashion and femme fatales several times a day. Of course quantity doesn’t equal quality, so his best material only pops up on occasion. The 10-time Grammy winner’s seemingly sudden obsession with Scarlet Johansson (as evidenced by 100+ photos in a single post) made for an interesting entry, but nothing is as entertaining as his rare curse-filled, caps-lock rants. And lest anyone who’s read them suggest he needs anger management, Kanye’s devoted a post to counter that claim, too (“If anything, I need anger enhancement!!”).
5 Lindsay Lohan
Though she hasn’t been at it for long, Lindsay Lohan’s quickly rising to the top of the celebrity blogger ranks. The best reason to catch LiLo’s home on the web has to be the long-winded responses to her personal trigger topics — her publicity-loving pop, the paparazzi and politicians, in particular. Of course if one wants the full Lindsay online experience, gal pal Samantha Ronson’s companion blog is also required reading. On the downside, both dirt-style MySpace offerings are fairly hit or miss. One day they’re raining rants and the next they’re simply offering up song selections.

In my opinion it is obvious. I will refrain from comments.
