Tom Cruise graces the cover of December’s Details Power Issue and is also # 7 on the mag’s power list of 40 Most Influential Men in the World. Not bad, hah? All the men on the list are under 47. Tom, 46, joined the top ten for his movie credits.

So who’s even more powerful than the most well-known Scientology proponent?
The top ten includes President-elect Barack Obama’s Secret Service Agent (# 1) and The Palin guys (Levi Johnston, 44, Todd, 18, Track, 19, Trig, 7 months).

Surprisingly enough, John Mayer is ranked 11, while Britney Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph is # 17, obviously ranking that high for his hard work on making Brit-Brit return to normal life and restart her career.

In case you wonder if any teen heartthrobs are also there on the list, give it up to Nick Jonas, 16, who’s # 24 on the power list.

Lil Wayne, 26, is ranked 29, while the pregnant man (who’s by the way pregnant again!) is # 40.
