Susan Boyle is Most Watched YouTube video ‘09

It’s official. Back in April 2009 I told you Susan Boyle’s Britain’s Got Talent audition was named the most viewed video reaching the $100 million views in just one week.

According to the just released stats, Susan Boyle still reigns YouTube becoming the most watched YouTube video of the year! That’s amazing! Congrats, Susan!

Moreover, Susan’s debut album I Dreamed A Dream sits at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 200 for three weeks in the row with some 500,000 copies sold in each of the first three weeks of release.

Back to YouTube, Susan’s performance topped the list of most watched videos with more than $120 million views beating even the New Moon trailer that came fourth in the list.

The top 5 most watched YouTube videos 2009 are:

1. Susan Boyle (120 million views)

2. David After Dentist (37 million views)

3. JK Wedding Entrance Dance (33 million views)

4. Twilight Saga: New Moon trailer (31 million views)

5. Evian Roller Babies (27 million views)
