Stalked celebrities 2010

Celebrities and stalkers… these two go hand in hand and there’s nothing celebrities can do about it. The more important and famous you are as a celebrity there more insane or just slightly lunatic people are attracted to you, your family, your trash bins and your property.

Just like any other year, 2010 is marked by a set of big and small stalker scandals.

Fortunately for most of the celebrtites, stalker cases end up either with a restraining order or with prison time for the crazy fans.

What celebrities have been stalked in 2010?

Lady GaGa

Lady GaGa’s stalker got backstage at her recent London concert at the O2 Arena and was even trying to get into GaGa’s dressing room. The 24 year old female fan had a backstage pass so it helped her evade security on her way to the room. However, she was caught and detained by security members. Police later let her go. The story obviously continues.

According to OK! Magazine, the crazy fan has been stalking Lady GaGa for a while now.

Pamela Anderson

A crazy pantomime fan has been stalking Pamela Anderson. The fan is from Liverpool, Great Britain, and he’s already been seen at ten of Pam’s performances as the pantomime Genie from London’s new Aladdin production.

Anderson is said to be “pretty scared by the whole thing” having extra bodyguards to join her security team. She even has to leave the venue through a different door every night as the man always waits for her outside.

Nicole Richie

Earlier this year Nicole Richie got a restraining order against the paparazzi stalker who had been following her daughter Harlow and stalking her outside of the school.

The photog drives erratically around my children and others, yells, screams and attempts to scare us so that he can photograph our reaction. He trespasses on preschool property to photograph the children. He has often left his car in the middle of a busy street just to chase me for a photograph,” Nicole said in her petition.

As of now, the photographer has to stay 100 yards away from Nicole Richie, her husband Joel Madden, and their two children Harlow and Sparrow, as well as the preschool.

Jennifer Aniston

Just like Richie, Jennifer Aniston has been granted a restraining order against an alleged stalker named Jason Peyton, 24. in July this year the man was found “lying-in-wait in a location he believes she frequents, with a sharp object, a bag, a roll of duct tape and written messages about [Aniston].” The guy was arrested.

Police said he was “an obsessed, mentally ill and delusional stalker who drove cross-country in his delusional ‘mission’ to locate and marry [Aniston], with whom he believes he is in a relationship.”

Also, according to police, Jennifer Aniston’s stalker has a history of violence and criminal stalking and is now ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Jen Aniston’s home.

Sandra Bullock

41-year-old Thomas James Weldon has been stalking Sandra Bullock since 2003. Earlier this year Sandra obtained a restraining order against the man ordering him not to get near her homes or movie sets, as well as stay away from her adopted son Louis.

Miley Cyrus

Only 18, Miley Cyrus also has a stalker, who’s like three times older. In August this year Mark McLeod, 53, was charged for stalking Miley in 2009, while she was filming The Last Song.

Justin Timberlake

Singer-turned-actor Justin Timberlake has been given a restraining order against Karen J. McNeil, a crazy female fan who’s been “obsessively” stalking him.

Madonna

Though it’s a long story, Madonna’s stalker doesn’t intend to give up his attempts to meet Madonna. Retired FDNY firefighter Robert Linhart was arrested at Madonna’s NYC apartment earlier this year. Before that the man had even sneaked into Madonna’s home and left the following message for her: “The Universe brought us together in 1992 and again this year in Prague. Meet me please.”

Madonna’s stalker says he won’t stop following the singer until he actually meets her. Crazy!

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian has been granted a permanent restraining order against an her “Joker Face” stalker – 26 year-old Georgia-native Dennis Shaun Bowman. The stalker has been showing up at Kim’s public appearances in LA dressed up as Joker from The Dark Knight.

According to court papers, Kim’s stalker is ordered to stay at least 500 yards away from the reality star and do not contact her in any way until 2013.

Ivanka Trump

Justin Massler has been stalking Ivanka Trump for two years sending her creepy emails as well as posting scary blood-covered message on his Twitter saying he would kill himself in Ivanka’s NY jewelry boutique. He even brought her $800 pair of jewelry there and got furious when the store failed to send it to her.

The stalker was charged in April this year and reported to have a history of mental problems.
