RIP, Amy Winehouse
We did try to make her go to rehab, but she said no, no, no…
Well, as the world may already know, Amy Winehouse recently passed away in her home, at the age of 27. Even though there isn’t much information on how or why Amy passed away so suddenly, we all understand that her death was caused by drug overdose.
Amy has battled alcohol and drug abuse for years, a struggle that has been highly publicized by the media and taunted by many.
No one is saying that she was a role model. Some people have written rude and mean spirited things. I didn’t know her, but I knew her music. Amy Winehouse was one of the most talented and soulful artists of her age.
Amy Winehouse became the latest member of the 27 club, also known as Forever 27. Other iconic stars from the 27 club: Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison, all of whom died at the age of 27.
