People don’t care about (digitally) dead celebrities from Digital Life Sacrifice campaign
The highly publicized Digital Life Sacrifice campaign supported and endorsed by such celebs as Kim Kardashian, Lady GaGa, Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Ryan Seacrest, and others, hasn’t really impressed you much, apparently.
The celebrities have left social networking websites Twitter and Facebook to raise $1 million for the Keep A Child Alive charity to help AIDS victims. In their “last tweet and testament” video the celebs promised they would not get back online until the money was raised.
You know what? Seems like nobody really cares! According to the sources, the effort has only raised $200,573 this week, which is much less than everybody has expected it to raise in the first days of the campaign.
Twitter seems sort of empty without, say, Kim Kardashian’s millions of tweets a day but at the same time, I can’t say I miss all those tweets. You?
