Paltrow donates big

Miss generosity Gwyneth Paltrow has donated big this week for the ‘Food bank for New York City’ organization. She was honored for the $75,000 she donated from her own money. She told guests:

I’ve been thinking about all the crap my children have and how much food we throw away. We have to do better.”

My glamorous friends, really, think of all the food you got in your fridge that you throw away even before you open the cans. We’re used to living in consumers’ society and some of it is a real waste.

The Food Bank distributes free food to over 1.5 million hungry New Yorkers every year. Make your donation today at foodbanknyc.org.
