Never Again to Darfur
Matt Damon and Thandie Newton have done photo shoot in London for the Save Darfur action. Those weren’t glamorous shots. Those were shots of celebrities destroying toys as a sign to destroyed childhood.
April, 13th is officially named “Global day for Darfur”. It is dedicated to the fifth anniversary of genocide in that country. Children living there see nothing but death for as long as they lived.
Damon, 37, destroyed a dollhouse with a baseball bat in his shots, and Newton, 35, was taken a photo blow-torching a hanging Barbie doll. Matt said:
After the genocide in Rwanda we all shook our heads and said never again. Today, as killings mount in Darfur we need to make never again a priority and demand protection for the most vulnerable.”
Britney, other than Malaria there is also such thing as genocide. Take action, celebs!
