MTV VMAs 2011 Winners!!!

The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards ceremony was full of events. Let’s begin with Lady Gaga, or her masculine alter ego – Joe Calderone. Everybody was wondering which outfit Lady Gaga would choose for the ceremony. Maybe she would appear in a “shocking” normal dress?! All of us were witnesses of Lady Gaga’s astonishing transformation into an ordinary woman, and despite Lara Stone’s assurance that Queen of monsters was unsexy, we saw SEXY Lady Gaga! Lady Gaga Is Not Sexy! And, yeah, those who thought the singer would show up in a normal garb were right…almost right. Everything was pretty normal except the fact that Lady Gaga turned into a man. The man named Joe Calderone became an exceptionally popular personality as he had over 36 000 Twitter followers. Check out the video of Joe’s ironic comments on Lady Gaga and his-her performance. By the way, a legendary Queen’s guitarist, Brian May, joined the singer on the stage.

Katy Perry holding the main award as the best Video of the Year for her Fireworks became the absolute winner of VMA.

Futile attempts of Selena Gomez to become a professional interviewer were another prominent event of the ceremony. She tried to “challenge” her boyfriend, Justin Bieber, with her questions. Everything seemed to be great until Justin kissed Selena. After this had happened, the “strict” position of Selena Gomez to be professional disappeared somehow.

VMA guests paid tribute to Amy Winehouse. Her friend, Russell Brand, presented the footage of the singer’s last weeks. On the video, Amy Winehouse was singing with Tony Bennett who confessed,

I went to the abbey studios in London and i recorded with Amy Winehouse and she was so unbelievable because, of all the young artists I’ve met in the last 20 years, she was a true jazz artist in the tradition of Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holliday

Later Bruno Mars performed her late song Valerie on the stage.

VMA ceremony will be aired on August 29 on MTV Channel.
