Lindsay Lohan is out of jail, heading to rehab

Lindsay Lohan‘s days behind bars are well behind her starting today as the singer/actress was released from prison at 1:35 a.m. today after serving 14 days of a 90-day sentence for violating her probation in a 2007 drug case, a sheriff’s spokesman said, according to AP.

Dismissing previous reports that claimed Lindsay would have a day off before heading to rehab, Ms. Lohan now has to start her 90 days in the facility immediately after the release. Actually, she’s already in rehab and her stay at Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach won’t be reduced like that in jail.

To avoid excessive public attention, Lindsay Lohan was released to a waiting vehicle and did not walk out the front entryway this morning. However, dozens of papz were awaiting her outside the gates anyway.

Is Lindsay a changed person now? We’ll see in 90 days. Previous reports claimed Lindsay spent her days in jail writing new material for her long awaited studio album.
