Lindsay Lohan goes back to jail for four months

Four months after her last rehab stint Lindsay Lohan is sentenced to four more months in jail for violation of probation in her 2007 DUI case.

At yesterday’s hearing Judge Stephanie Sautner reduced the charge from a felony to a misdemeanor in Lilo’s necklace stealing case (January 2011) and sentenced Lindsay to 120 days in jail and 480 hours of community service. Ms Lohan will have to complete 360 hours at the Downtown Women’s Center, so she “can see how needy women have to live,” with the remaining 120 hours set to be served at the L.A. County Morgue. Reports claim the Judge wanted to “teach Lindsay a lesson” and community service at the Morgue definitely sounds like a serious challenge for a Hollywood star.

Lindsay’s lawyer Shawn Holley said she was going to appeal against the ruling.

So far, Lindsay Lohan who entered the not guilty plea at yesterday’s hearting, is to be back in court on May 11 for a pre-trial hearing with her trial set for June 3, 2011.

These coming 120 days in jail become Lindsay’s fourth time behind bars.
