Lady GaGa: “Stripping gave me personal freedom”

I could expect something of the kind from such an extravagant girl like GaGa. At least that explains love of hot pants and bra.

In her latest interview Lady GaGa revealed what helped her get through teens years – it was strip dancingin clubs.

I was working in strip clubs when I was 18. Girls from my background weren’t meant to turn into someone like me. I come from a wealthy Italian family, went to a good school [the same Paris and Nicky Hilton attended],” she told News of the World. “I went against all I was brought up to be; I moved out of home, wouldn’t take any help from my parents and supported myself with waitressing jobs and stripping.”

Breaking the rules – that’s so much like GaGa!

According to the 22-year old music sensation, her strip shows were a huge success drawing big crowds to clubs as she accompanies her “wild” dance with “setting hairspray alight on stage.”

I just wonder if her infamous Disco Stick was also a part of the show.
