Lady GaGa: larger-than-life Brit Awards fashion
Lady of all wigs, Lady GaGa, was center of attention at Tuesday’s 2010 Brit Awards turning heads and winning tabloid headlines due to her surreal fashion and daring style choices.
Prior to the show Lady GaGa was seen leaving her London hotel in a big blonde wig and spike-decorated jacket. Pairing the look with black fishnet tights, sky-high platform booties and John Lennon-inspired shades she looked quite fierce battling the London cold in a motley shirt worn as a dress.
Right before the show Lady GaGa opted for another larger-than-life wig with pale fuchsia bows decoration. Though the wig looked cheap and ugly I loved her comb-style brown shades and her leopard printed coat. Really fierce!
As to her 2010 Brit Awards redcarpet appearance, she was second to none in a white tiered Francesco Scognamiglio dress with a white beehive-like pompadour wig and white lace mask. So fashion-forward and so unlike anything the world had ever seen on the redcarpet before.
Even though the tiered dress looked awesome, it failed to win my heart as the favorite look of the night.
While performing ‘Telephone’ Lady opted for a sheer lace embellished catsuit, lace decorated platform heels, lace mask and the same attention-grabbing white wig. That was so cool, provocative and bold. Simply amazing.
Bet GaGa’s Brit Awards style is her other way to pay tribute to her close friend Alexander McQueen who died last week. Lady’s style is so reminiscent of his trademark breathtaking fashion.
