Kylie Minogue is most powerful celeb in Britain

Pin-sized Aussie singer Kylie Minogue has topped the poll of most powerful celebrities who make a “buzz” in Britain.

The research company polled 2,000 consumers about 100 celebrities and 100 brands they considered the most popular, and 41 year old Kylie was ranked the first beating such British stars as Cheryl Cole, Dame Judi Dench, actress Helen Mirren and soccer player David Beckham.

Kylie is widely accepted as an adopted Brit. People know her, like her and she is surrounded by positive buzz,” head of the research company said.

Kylie isn’t the only non-Briton to get in the top 10 positive role models. George Clooney is ranked the 8th.

According to Telegraph.co.uk, the celebrities ranked as poor role models in the survey are singer Amy Winehouse, model and reality TV star Katie Price, Paris Hilton, cheater Tiger Woods and some others.
