Katie Holmes’ style at National Movie Awards

I’d give a lot to be able to read Katie Holmes’ mind the moment she decided to pick this ugly stripy dress to wear at 2010 National Movie Awards last night.

The dress might be ok to wear to a playground during the quality mother-daughter time with Suri but it’s the wrong choice of a dress for a glam redcarpet event.

FYI, the maxi stripy dress is from Katie’s own designer collection Holmes & Yang. To kind of compensate the eye-hurting stripy pattern of the dress Holmes wore Roger Vivier’s black satin peep-toes and barely-there jewelry.

The dress is officially a disaster!

Katie’s natural make up looked great, while her hair looked too casual for the occasion. It’ll kill me if you say this hair style cost her a lot of $$$.

Bottom line, Katie def thought 2010 National Movie Awards were a kind of a regular lawn party. Unfortunately, it was nothing of the kind.
