Kanye West Cancels MTV VMA Appearance Since Kimmy Cake Has Other Plans

Kanye West has cancelled the MTV Video Music Awards before a few hours to to ceremony. Fortunately, the rapper was not scheduled to perform. Kanye has pulled out of VMA after he decided it’s unfair to visit the ceremony without his girlfriend Kim Kardashian, the latter has other business plans. Kim had a prior engagement at Fashion’s Night Out in New York, where she will be promoting her True Reflection perfume at Lord & Taylor. Pff, I bet she would’nt have pulled out of any awards show if he couldnt go…

A source tells Daily Mail:

Kim’s in New York for her fragrance launch and Kanye didn’t want to go to the VMAs if she couldn’t be there.”

By the way, Kayne’s song Mercy featuring Pusha T, Big Sean & 2 Chainz is up for Best Hip-Hop Video and Best Editing.

Kanye famously made headlines at the Video Music Awards in 2009 when he interrupted Taylor Swift’s speech, after she won the award for Best Female Video, to insist Beyonce Knowles should have won.

Earlier this week, this year’s host Kevin Hart threatened to put a seat-belt on Kanye so he didn’t storm the stage again.

Kim and Kanye have been almost inseparable since they began dating six months and on The View yesterday she described him as her ‘perfect match’. She also revealed she’s eager to start a family, saying she ‘definitely’ sees children in her future.
