Justin Bieber visits screening of girlfriend Selena Gomez’s film ‘Monte Carlo’ after the crazed fan attack

Justin Bieber made an appearance at New York screening of Selena Gomez’s new movie Monte Carlo yesterday. Though the couple did not pose together in front of the photographers it was obvious Justin Bieber’s appearance meant a lot to Selena and to the film’s ratings – I’m sure all Selena-haters will definitely watch the movie just to try to understand why Biebs finds the girl so special.

The Monte Carlo screening happened just hours after the infamous “fan attack” outside Macy’s Herald Square where Justin was to premiere his second fragrance Someday, sign autographs and greet fans.

The attack that was later labeled as “a momentary, well-intentioned misunderstanding” left Justin “shaken up” though uninjured and not even touched.

The misunderstanding happened when Justin Bieber went out of the store to greet fans. When the crowd went really wild and “unruly”, an undercover cop rushed to protect the singer from the possible attack. When the cop got closer, one of Justin’s security guards took him for a crazed fan planning an attack, so he grabbed the policeman and tried to pull him down, according to TMZ. The cop then cited the guard for disorderly conduct.

When the misunderstanding was resolved, Justin got back inside the store and continued to sign autographs.

Today went well at Macy’s,” Justin Bieber wrote on Twitter later in the day. “The fans were AMAZING, thanks to all the fans who came out to support it was a breath of fresh air :).”
