Justin Bieber and his pooch look adorable in the new PETA ad

16 year old Justin Bieber is the new spokesperson for PETA‘s campaign to promote adoption from animal shelters. In the new PETA poster Justin Bieber is singing in the mic along with his adopted pooch Bijoux. “My World Includes Compassion for Animals. Yours Should Too” reads the tagline.

Justin is adorable, as always. His pooch is beyond cute, too. In the story that goes with the poster Justin Bieber says that adopted dogs became his real friends when he was most in need of friends.

We moved to a city where we didn’t really know anybody, so I wanted a friend around. And Sam [not featured in the PETA ad poster] was kinda like that friend,” Justin Bieber revealed. “My Dad and I used to go and hang out … just go and visit the different animals and stuff. It’s really important that people adopt. I really encourage going out to an animal shelter or a place where you can get a dog that has been abandoned or doesn’t have a home.”

Having such a powerful new ambassador PETA can expect to have more animals adopted even before the end of this year. Beliebers are crazy about Justin and do whatever he tells them to do.

Go Justin! It’s a worthwhile cause and a nice way to celebrate your new victory – Bieber’s ‘Baby’ became the most watched YouTube video of 2010!
