Johnny Depp sings… again
Johnny Depp is great in everything he does. He’s fantastic in acting, he’s amazing and doting dad, and he’s a great singer, though maybe there’re not so many people who know that. Johnny once sang in the band The Kids, and now there’re reports he’s gonna reunite with the guys to play two concerts at Sheila Witkin Memorial Reunion Concert on August 29 and 30 at the Club Cinema in Pompano Beach, Florida.
He last performed with The Kids last January, and this time he’ll sing with them at the same fundraising event.
The star is known for his musical talents and has previously recorded a solo album and even played slide guitar on the British band Oasis song ‘Fade In-Out’.

Besides, being totally multitalented, Johnny’s extremely generous. It was recently revealed that Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law who helped complete Heath Ledger’s final movie project The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus by playing versions of Ledger’s character, donated their salaries to Heath Ledger’s daughter Matilda, 2, to ensure she has a secure future. Heath died of an accidental prescription drugs overdose in January this year.
The thing is that Ledger’s will was made before Matilda was born and therefore she was not granted any of his assets.
“They didn’t take money — it goes to Heath’s daughter. The three actors were totally heroic coming in. This doesn’t happen very often – where there’s a tragedy like this, and very famous, very successful actors suddenly say, ‘OK, we’ll do whatever it takes to help,” Imaginarium director Terry Gilliam told the press.
Previously Johnny donated nearly $2 million to the London children’s medical center that treated his daughter Lily-Rose, 8, from kidney failure in March 2007.
