Jennifer Lopez goes back in time with those abs but fails to dress her age

Mother of twins Jennifer Lopez showed off her envious abs at the BlackBerry PlayBook launch earlier this week.

Wearing a super short torso revealing top Jen looked nothing like a 41-year old mother of 3-year old twins but at the same time the belly-baring outfit made me go “what was she thinking?” Yes, she’s still hot but can’t she just try to dress her age?

The bandeau top and pants remind me of J Lo’s Jenny from the Block era, but hey, it’s been almost ten years since then and the revived look that used to be iconic and really sexy in early 2000s, now looks a bit ridiculous to me. What do you say?

However, I must praise Jennifer for all the hard work she puts in keeping her body youthful. In her interview with People magazine that named her the most beautiful woman in the world, Lopez confessed being in perfect form was a part of her job.

I don’t want anybody thinking it’s easy. It does take time and it’s hard work. HDTV wide-screen is nobody’s friend!” Jennifer Lopez added.

I’m sure her stylist can find other outfits that make her look fantastic and flatter her envious curves, being quite her age at the same time. So success of this “back in time” fashion experiment is quite questionable. On the other hand, when I’m 41 and I’ve had my kids and I still have those killer abs maybe I’ll also use every chance to show them off!
