Hugh Jackman Opens His Own Coffee Shop
The Real Steel star created the Laughing Man Coffee & Tea in New York shop where tea, coffee and chocolates are sold to raise money for good causes mainly charity on educational aids. The shop is the part of the Laughing Man organization and charity he founded with his friends Barry and David Steingard. The idea to open such kind of shop came to our Wolverine when he visited Ethiopia in 2009 and met a coffee farmer Dukale.
During that visit Jackman felt a kind of inspired to give something back Dukale’s community and this coincided with Steingards’ plans to invest in the coffee business.
Earlier, talking about the Laughing Man brand, he said:
I met a man who changed the way I looked at the world. As Dukale and I planted coffee trees together, I began to see the potential for one man’s hard work to transform an entire community. While working with Dukale that day, I was so inspired by what I learned from him and his community. I made Dukale a promise to do my bit to help. Laughing Man Worldwide is the fulfillment of that promise.”
Good job, Hugh! If everybody would act like you our world would be really better…
