Celebrity life is exciting to watch. As soon as celebrities get a few drinks and let themselves loose – that’s when the show begins! When drunk (or tipsy) celebrities sometimes get really funny and absolutely inadequate.

Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse has a history of alcohol problems and is known for her public battle with the addiction. Back in 2009 Amy Winehouse was seen in St. Lucia crawling around the restaurant – drunk and incoherent – asking other visitors to give her another drink. So embarrassing.

Britney Spears

Britney’s crew members and dancers are forbidden from exposing Spears to alcohol and drugs. And here’s why. The photo above was taken in 2007 during Britney’s infamous meltdown. That time she was a club regular partying away till wee hours and then leaving venues looking wasted and miserable.

After a few drinks Britney Spears often flashed her boobs and other intimate parts. So happy Brit is well behind those crazy times.

Lily Allen

The most famous drunk-and-embarrassing moment in Lily Allen’s career is probably her 2008 Glamour Women of the Year Awards episode. At the event Lily got “very drunk” and needed help home. Fortunately, her younger brother Alfie was there to help his famous sis.

The day after the embarrassing photos hit the web, Lily Allen took to her MySpace page to apologize:

I got very drunk last night, too drunk. It’s not cool getting that drunk,” the singer wrote. “Kids, drink responsibly or you’ll end up looking like this, not pretty! Was quite fun though, from what I can remember.”

Christina Aguilera

On March 1, 2011 Christina Aguilera got arrested for “public intoxication” and her current boyfriend Matthew Rutler got arrested for DUI as both were drunk in the car Rutler was erratically driving.

Christina was taken into custody for been “extremely intoxicated” and unable to “care for herself.” As soon as she got sober, she was released.

Such an embarrassing situation for a newly divorced mother of one.
