Heather Russell is your new Justin Bieber

Heather Russell is a ten year-old Canadian girl who’s been hailed as the new YouTube sensation and even a new Justin Bieber. The girl does have a fantastic voice for her age and is said to be a natural entertainer and the next big thing.

Two days ago X Factor judge and music mogul Simon Cowell signed Heather Russell with his record label Syco UK.

Simon just loved her. He said she was amazingly-talented from the first time he saw her.,” a rep for Simon Cowell said.

Heather Russell was first seen on YouTube last summer and immediately attracted attention of Rob Fusari, Lady GaGa’s producer. Fusari said:

At five years old she had a vibrato; at eight years old Heather wrote her first song on the piano called ‘Beautiful’. At nine, Ashton Kutcher tweeted about her to Demi Moore [and] Ellen DeGeneres wants her on the show.”

Well, now that Simon Cowell has taken Russell under his wing, she’s sure to be a music news regular and I’m expecting a lot of TV and radio appearances and interviews, as well as a debut album coming later this year.

Heather Russell has an astounding voice, she’s talented but she’s still so young! Even Justin Bieber was 13 when he was first discovered!
