Harper’s Bazaar gives Susan Boyle a glam makeover

No bitching, this woman looks so Harper’s Bazaar glamorous.

Britain’s Got Talent runner-up and ultimate YouTube sensation Susan Boyle will be featured in the fashion Bible in September 2009.

The shoot is all round remarkable as it’s the first shoot Susan does for a fashion or any other kind of magazine.

The 48 year old spinster turned from an ugly duckling to a real glamorous princess for the magazine donning a number of designer outfits and looking all radiant and happy in the pics.

It really made me feel like a Hollywood actress. Had my hair done up,” the singer said after the shoot.

The magazine’s editorial board did not want to present a brand new cover-perfect Susan, they simply wanted to show her sensitive side.

[The idea behind the shoot] was to take gorgeous, glamorous and sensitive portraits of her. This was her first magazine photo shoot, so you can’t do too much too soon,” Harper’s special projects editor Laura Brown said. “What we did on our shoot was give her a little bit of a haircut, and that was it, and a little bit of a curl. And actually the shape of her hair is great. She’s got a really lovely curl to it. So we just tidied it up a little bit and paired it with some natural makeup, and she looked great.”

And she DOES look gorgeous.

No more bushy eyebrows and graying curls, Boyle’s ultimate fashion makeover presents the same talented singer but with brand new confidence and perception of herself.
