Being a celebrity, you have certain privileges that all the rest of us, mere mortals, will never have. For example, as a celebrity you can be sure your child/children will have really famous godparents, or you, in your turn, can be chosen godparent to a celebrity kid.

Angelina Jolie’s godmother is English actress Jacqueline Bisset. In their turn, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have chosen Bono (U2) to be godfather to their twins Knox and Vivienne.

Actor Jake Gyllenhaal has Jamie Lee Curtis and the late Paul Newman as his godparents.

Jake’s Brokeback Mountain co-stars, the late Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams have him as godfather to their daughter Matilda.

   Trudie Styler is Sting’s wife and godmother to Rocco Ritchie. Patsy Kensit is actually the mother of Liam Gallagher’s son, Lennon.

   Busy Phillips is godmother to Matilda Legder.

   That’s not a pic of Apple Martin… that’s Gwyneth’s son, Moses.

   Good post. Very much enjoyed it and was quite amazed.
