Emma Watson quits acting after Harry Potter!

Emma is definitely the only young Hollywood star I can recall who wants to have an absolutely normal “anonymous” life as a college student in Columbia University [the one Emma’s rumored to have chosen].

Your favorite Hermione Granger covers UK Elle‘s August issue talking about filming the last part of the Harry Potter franchise (Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows) and choosing her path in life after it.

It’s going to sound dramatic, but I feel like it’s going to be my life over as I know it,” Emma said about going to part with her Harry Potter family. “My whole life has been about Harry Potter and then all of that will shut down and I don’t know what it will be like. I go to university in September – I’ll be doing bits and bobs at Christmas, but September feels like my cut-off point, the moment when I’ll really stop.”

Emma Watson gushed about her future university life saying she’d probably choose the US to “fade into the background a bit” on some campus here, adding it’s so hard to remain anonymous in Cambridge and London.

Starting university this September will give Watson the break she’s been longing for for so long, the break to decide whether she wants to continue with her acting career or quit after Harry Potter.

I need university to give me that break. People think because I’m going to university I’m never going to act again, but it’s actually me. I want to figure out how I feel about everything first. Maybe I’ll keep acting, maybe I won’t.

I just want to find something where I feel I have to do this. Maybe that’ll happen when I read a script. It felt like that with Hermione. I want to feel like that again.”

   I think Emma should do what ever she feels is best for her personally. Yes she’s beautiful but she’s also very intelligent as well so she could go down many different paths so i just think she should do whats right for her. :) massive fan of Emma not only for standing up to people who simply want to take pictures of her body and saying no but for not getting carried away with one thing and thinking about what else she could do.

   i think that Emma should carry on with acting, no doubt about it.I would like to see more films with Emma in. I thnk she is so gorgeous, smart, extremly lucky (what i wouldn’t give to be a famous actor) and much more, i mean, the list could go on forever.To sum up, i think you are hot and i would LOVE to meet you some day.

    I think she should do as she feels. I would love to see other movies with her in them, but they have to be good movies and ones that she likes.
