Emma Watson is a real witch?
That sounds interesting and ridiculous at the same time.
While you might still be numb and hyperventilating after watching the last Harry Potter movie, some people out there try to find answers to questions that we’ve never asked. Do you need the reason to admire Emma Watson? Are you looking for explanation of getting under her beauty spell? You probably don’t but here’s something to make all Hermione Granger fans scream with excitement.
According to Ancestry.com, Emma does have witch roots. Her distant relative Joan Playle of Essex County, England, was convicted of witchcraft in 1592.
It’s not every day we’re able to trace the branches of a family tree back to 16th-century witch trials,” Anastasia Tyler, who made the discovery, said. “Combine that with a celebrity connection to Emma Watson and the fact that she plays a witch in Harry Potter: You couldn’t script it any better.”
However, being accused of witchcraft in the 16th century was as easy as to google Emma Watson today. So the evidence doesn’t really look solid to me.
Itching to hear what you think about it!
