Emma Watson had a breakdown at Brown University
Harry Potter actress and now a sophomore student at Brown University Emma Watson has said fame is taking its toll on her as she simply can’t leave a normal life, like her Brown classmates.
In her recent interview Emma confessed she once had a minor breakdown right in front of the class when one of her classmates asked for her autograph – Emma Watson just burst in uncontrollable tears crying that she just wanted them to see her as a fellow student and not as a Hollywood star.
I had a breakdown,” Emma Watson confessed. “Not a hissy fit, more like uncontrollable crying. Everyone looked at me horrified, like, ‘Oh my God! What’s wrong with her?’ I just said, ‘I’m really sorry, but I’m here to study and I just want to be a student. Would it be okay if I don’t sign, because you’ll be seeing me around all the time anyway?'”
Despite such unpleasant moments Watson is generally happy with the way people on campus treat her.
One morning I was walking down the corridor from the bathroom in just a towel and I thought I must be mad, anyone could take a picture up my towel and put it on Twitter. But no-one did,” Emma gushed. “Not even when I had my birthday party – 100 people came and not one put a picture on Facebook.”
Maybe it’s just because fewer and fewer people care about Emma Watson now as she’s trying her best to keep out of the spotlight and away from Hollywood glam life?

I’d like to see up her towel. She is such a tease! Can we please have nude pics already? You don’t have to please the Harry Potter movie people forever.
If I was famous as Emma Watson I’d put my own naked pictures on Facebook!

Emma’s not into being outrageous, with over-the-top publicity. And, people forget that, OMG, Emma is trying to have a life, too. She’s an actress publically, & a student her-own-person privately.
Somehow, we’re missing giving her the respect that she, like anyone, deserves (We put ’em up high to admire & then throw rocks to bring ’em down ’cause they’re not perfect). But she’s always ‘on’ when around fans, who have idiotic expectations of her. She’s worked hard in a business that chose her. And finding serenity & happiness along this journey.
