Emma Watson gets Yale serious

This girl is definitely special and so much Hollywood untypical!

Emma Watson, 18, is reported to get accepted to Yale recently.

According to the rumor, she blogged about it writing “I got accepted to Yale!”

Well, if it’s so, congrats Emma!

Harry Potter star fist visited the prestigious university in New Haven, Conn. in October 2008, well she apparently loved it.

Besides, Emma is known as a big fan of Natalie Portman who’s also graduated from Yale. Does Emma follow in Natalie’s steps? We’ll see soon.

Emma has often said she would easily qive up her movie career for university.

I actually think going to university will make me a better actress. The experience of living like that, working to deadlines, living with other students. It’s all the things I want,” Emma said in one of the interviews. “Jodie Foster did it, Natalie Portman did it,’ she says about the idea of staying in the movie industry and studying at the university. “I think it’s entirely possible to juggle university with filming.”

Yale news must be exciting and long awaited for Emma as less than a month ago she said she didn’t know if she was accepted anywhere at all.

Obviously I’m looking at universities and reading lots of scripts and meeting with producers and trying to make a good decision about what my next move should be. I might be going to America – I’m looking at schools over there – but obviously I’m waiting to hear, to find out where I’ve been accepted and if I’ve been offered a place. So nothing’s been decided yet,” the actress said at BAFTAs on February 8, 2009.

Watson once said if she got accepted in America she would do a Liberal Arts program here.
