Dream Catcher: Miley Cyrus debuts new HUGE tattoo

Tattoo obsession obviously runs in the Cyrus family. Miley Cyrus, 18, has debuted yet another tattoo, the fifth ink art on her teen body. The new tat is the biggest of all and covers a larger part of the right side of her ribcage.

According to Miley’s friends, the new tattoo is the dream-catcher to protect her family:

It’s a picture of the dream catcher that hangs over her bed with four feathers to represent her four brothers and sisters [Brandi, 23, Trace, 21, Braison, 16, and Noah, 11],” a friend of the singer/actress told People. “The dream catcher is to protect them. All of Miley’s tattoos have a deep meaning to her. They all represent family and friends close to her.”

Miley showed her new ink earlier this week wearing a t-shirt with a big hole cut exactly where her new tattoo is.

This new dream catcher tattoo is Miley Cyrus’ first legal tattoo as the legal age to have body ink in the US is 18.

Miley Cyrus’ other tattoos include the word “Love” in her right ear, a heart and a cross on her fingers and the “Just Breathe” tat on the left side of her ribcage that Miley had in December 2009 as a tribute to a nine-year-old girl called Vanessa who died from cystic fibrosis in 2007 and was Miley’s friend.

Beside tattoos, Miley Cyrus also has piercings in her nose and belly button.

Don’t you think Miley Cyrus is trying too hard to shed her good girl image?
