Dakota Fanning is looking for a prom date

The Runaways star Dakota Fanning has revealed she’s not sure if she’ll be going to her prom because the world famous actress doesn’t have a date to accompany her to the most anticipated high school event.

Yeah, you read it right, Dakota doesn’t have a date!

[Prom] coming up. It’s on everybody’s minds… I’m not sure yet [if I’ll be going]. I don’t have a date,” Fanning, 16, said, according to WENN. “I’m trying to decide if I wanna go with someone or just go with friends.”

Why not take your Twilight Saga: Eclipse costar to the party? At least that’ll make all of her girlfriends cry with excitement.

Dakota’s new BFF Kristen Stewart, with whom she costars in New Moon, Eclipse and The Runaways, once said filming prom scenes for Eclipse was like going to her own prom as Kristen never had a chance to hit hers due to her busy working schedule.

FYI, Twilight Saga: Eclipse starring both of the girls is out in two months – on June 30th!
