Red is hot. Besides being the main color symbolizing passion, love and sex, red is also one of the hottest colors of the Fall/Winter 2009 – 2010 fashion season!

From catwalk to real celebrity life, red is everywhere these days. So what celebrities do heart red this fall?

Twilight Saga hottie Ashley Greene looked fabulous in a strapless floor sweeping red dress while on a stroll with a friend September 6, 2009. The scarlet gown paired with her dark hair and sunglasses created a cool bohemian look.

Singer Katy Perry looked coral red gorgeous last week when leaving Hotel Chateu Marmont in Los Angeles. The body-hugging simply tailored shift stressed her toned body and her raven dark hair. Simple but ultimately elegant. Thumbs up, Katy!

Actress Christina Ricci turned heads at Inglourious Basterds premiere last month turning up in a bright red mini dress and killer black heels. Christina proved that a red dress and smoky eyes make up create a super vamp look. [Don’t forget about the swagger, though]

AJ Michalka opted for a scarlet one shoulder mini for 2009 Teen Choice Award this year. Great choice, great dress, great posture.

Pregnant Penelope Cruz looked, well, great in the brick red suit premiering her latest flick, Broken Embrace, on August 3, 2009 in Berlin. Mama Mia! star Meryl Streep looked red dress beautiful premiering Julie & Julia last month. Bright red made her look wonderful for her age – very fresh and attractive. Loved the wide black belt, so fashion-conscious of Meryl.

Hollywood starlet Megan Fox looked posh and sexy in the crimson dress during the Berlin premiere of her latest flick Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen in June 2009. She did turn heads and was the brightest girl in town in that beautiful gown with fancy snake decoration and a slit.
