Celebrities’ Halloween costumes 2010

Gearing up for larger-than life Halloweencelebrations later this month, some celebrities have already come up with great Halloween costume ideas for this year’s event.

Like, for instance, Selena Gomes said she would dress as Katy Perry for this Halloween.

I’m going to be Katy Perry for Halloween,” Selena Gomez said in her interview with JustJared.com. “It’s the ‘California Gurls’ outfit with the blue hair. I’m so excited.”

So are we!

Actress-turned-fashion-editor Rachel Bilson said later last month that she would be Miss Piggy for Halloween 2010. In case you didn’t know, Miss Piggy is Rachel’s “ultimate hero.”

I’ve loved [Miss Piggy] practically my whole life.” Rachel Bilson told InStyle. “I’m already gathering details, like the perfect wig and snout. I only hope I can look as fabulous.”

Former Victoria’s Secret model and host of the famous Heidi Klum’s Halloween Party, Heidi has hinted her new costume will be 8 feet tall and absolutely “larger than life”.

I like to change things up,” Heidi Klum told E! News. “This year [the party] is back in New York and my costume is larger than life! I hope everyone will try to outdo me! The game is on!”

Reports claim that finding a location for the party is now twice as difficult because the height of ceilings is crucially important for Heidi and her new costume. Manhattan’s LAVO nightclub is expected to be the venue for Heidi’s Halloween party.

   Isn’t it interesting…take a look through the catalog of this year’s Halloween costumes and many “regular folks” will be dressing up as their favorite movie and TV stars. Sounds like at least a few stars are going to be dressing up as other stars, as well as their favorite TV characters.
   But to really stand out, they have to do something unique…say an 8 foot tall “something.”
   Everyone likes to dress up as someone else it seems!
