Britney Spears is your Ultimate Choice

Well, she won’t perform (aka lip-synch) at 2009 Teen Choice Awards next Monday, however, all Britney’s fans can have a deep breath in excitement and get ready to see the pop princess make a very special appearance at the show for a very special cause.

Although Britney Spears is nominated in three categories – Choice Music: Single, Choice Music: Female Artist, and Choice Music: Tour – even if she doesn’t win in either of them she’ll go home with a special award surfboard.

It was revealed Britney will receive the Ultimate Choice Award at this year’s show for “extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry.”

She must feel honored.

2009 Teen Choice Awards will be held Monday August 10, 2009 and hosted by the Jonas Brothers.
