Britney Spears is a new comic book star! Britney joins the Fame family with her book that has some super ugly girl with yellow hair on the cover.

What’s wrong with the guys at Fame? Don’t they realize their Britney on the cover doesn’t really look like Britney Spears at all?

The Britney Spears’ comic book will reveal what it takes to reach the superstar status in the Internet Age, and what the hidden cost is when every move makes the headlines.

Britney Spears – the most famous superstar of the 21st century,” Fame‘s statement reads. “More than a dancer and musician. Britney Spears is a survivor!”

No official release date for the Britney Spears comic book has been revealed yet but expect it to hit shelves in the first half of 2011.

FYI, late last month it was reported Angelina Jolie would release her comic book in January 2011.
