Beyonce is Woman Of The Year

Billboard magazine named Beyoncé Knowles Woman of the Year. The title was given to the singer/actress/entrepreneur for her success, leadership and inspiration.

Beyonce is multi-platinum artist and a multi-talented woman who clearly embodies the qualities of excellence and achievement that the Billboard Woman of the Year Award was created to honor,” Billboard‘s Editorial Director Bill Werde said. “She has not only influenced pop culture with her hit songs and signature dance moves, but has inspired women everywhere with her unique style, business savvy and dedication to charitable causes.”

Beyonce will receive her honor on October 2, 2009 during the 2009 Billboard Women In Music Event held in New York.

Being fierce pays off.
