Amy Winehouse Was Preparing For Her Role As a Mother

After one of the greatest female-singers, Amy Winehouse, died, new details of her life appeared. Thus, it became known that Amy was planning to adopt a poor girl from a Caribbean island. Dannika is a 10-year-old St. Lucian girl who has both parents and grandmother. However her parents had been divorced even before their daughter was born. Dannika’s father, Vic Augustine, lives in Germany and seeks for an appropriate job. The girl’s mother, Nadia Germaine, hardly provides her daughter with food and other things needed for normal life. That’s why, Dannika and her family weren’t against the famous singer desire to adopt the girl. However her untimely demise put an end to such plans.

Amy was already my mother. I would call her mum and she would call me her daughter. She took care of me and we had fun together. I loved her and she loved me.

I cannot believe she is gone.This is the worst thing that ever happened to me.

Marjorie Lambert, Dannika’s grandmother, confesses they didn’t worry about Dannika’s future despite of Amy Winehouse’s notorious life style.

Amy was such a good person. She wanted to help everyone. I know she had her problems, but in St Lucia she was a much better person than people knew in the UK. She was drug-free and normal here. I never worried about Dannika being with Amy.

Who knows maybe Amy Winehouse becoming a mother would make her life more harmonious. However today it’s just useless speculation.
