Amy Winehouse To Be Awarded Posthumously!

It’s a well known fact that the death of a famous person makes him or her even more famous. Thus, Amy Winehouse’s second album Back To Black became the bestselling album of the 21 century in the UK. Her music album established this fabulous record in a very short period of time after the singer had died.

Besides,a legendary singer Tony Bennett will pay tribute to Amy Winehouse during this Sunday’s Video Music Awards. Tony Bennett was recording with Amy Body And Soul song. As they spent enough time working together, the American star came to know her much better. He revealed his impressions of Amy Winehouse as a “genius” singer.

It was a thrill to record with Amy Winehouse. And when you listen to the recording of Body and Soul, it is a testament to her artistic genius and her brilliance as one of the most honest musicians I have ever known.

Tony Bennett will give a speech about Amy Winehouse on the VMA ceremony and will show the photos taken in the Abbey Road Studios in London.

Amy Winehouse was an extraordinary singer. Her second and last album, Back To Black, released on October 4, 2006, made her a record holder. Amy Winehouse with her acclaimed Back to Black album picked up 5 Grammys in the six categories in which she was nominated. She got in the Guinness Book of World Records as the only British singer awarded with five Grammys.
