2009 MBFW style: Amanda Bynes

As Mercedes Benz Spring 2010 New York Fashion Week is over, high time we checked out FW celebrity style. When thinking about this style round-up, I caught myself at thinking I loved the way actress Amanda Bynes looked at catwalk shows last week.

This fashion week was all about black and white fashion for the actress. I thought it was kinda cool and very, you know, classic.

Amanda’s classic fashion choice was first displayed September 10 when she visited BCBG Max Azria Spring 2010 fashion show looking all glam and demure elegance in the all black ensemble of a sequined black dress and a simple black jacket paired with Chanel chain bag and black patent leather pumps. Amanda looked low-key in black shades and no flashy jewelry or accessories. Very demure and very classic.

She next visited the catwalk show on September 13, 2009 looking more of a big city fashionista this time though keeping to the major black and white tendency. A creme colored bandage dress was paired with a classic black jacket with rolled up sleeves, and oversized sequined clutch, oversized sunglasses and bandage sandals.

Just like before, no accessories to distract your attention from her long legs and alluring curves.

This is my favorite look of all Amanda Bynes’s FW 2009 looks this year. I loved the simple yet elegant black and white ensemble of a white corset and an over-the-knee skirt Amanda wore to the Jill Stuart Fashion Show on September 15. A simple pendant necklace and black heels completed the flirty look of a real Hollywood starlet.

Amanda’s last NYFW appearance at Ann Taylor Fall 2009 Runway Show followed the general style of the week. She wore a black bandage skirt, a black lace top, Chanel bag with a chain handle, black tights and ankle boots. Amanda completed the look with a fancy black and white bead necklace and bracelet.

Judging by Amanda’s looks, she’s really into jackets these days. A trendy gal, what else to say.
