100 Power Women in Entertainment revealed
I love all kinds of rankings. Economists like to say stats show the real situation. And yesterday The Hollywood Reporter has revealed its annual ranking of the most influential women in entertainment.
Besides names of board members, presidents, executive vps and producers, the list contains several celeb names as well. I was amazed to see 16 year old Miley Cyrus in the list, even though she took the last slot.
30 Rock executive producer/writer/star Tina Fey came at No. 51, Tyra Banks was No. 36, while The Changeling star Angelina Jolie became the 24th in the list of the most powerful this year. Not that bad, hah?
No need to say Oprah Winfrey secures her No. 1 spot.
Though Jolie couldn’t make it to the top in this list, she can be proud of herself as she’s the highest earning actress of 2008, according to the same source. She’s earned $15m for Wanted this year, thus overshadowing Julia Roberts, Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz and other rich Hollywood girls.
