Truly Bloddy Jennifers body…

Diablo Cody and Jason Reitman will follow Juno by teaming once again. Cody’s script and Reitman’s producing will create horror-comedy called Jennifer’s Body, directed by Karyn Kusama.

Jennifer’s body will be presented by Megan Fox’s body. The actress of of Transformers and FHM’s sexiest woman of 2008.

A story is about a small-town Minnesotan cheerleader who succumbs to demonic possession and starts killing the local boys. Her best friend Amanda Seyfried of sizable runs on Big Love and Veronica Mars as well as the upcoming Mamma Mia!

And here’s déjà vu for your eyes!

HBO has set premiere dates for two new series this fall. The drama True Blood, a vampire show from Six Feet Under creator Alan Ball, is scheduled to premiere Sept. 7

True Blood, based on a series of novels by Charlene Harris, is set in a world where vampires have come out into the open, thanks to the development of synthetic blood that allows them to survive without feeding on humans. It stars Anna Paquin from X-Men as Sookie Stackhouse, a mind-reading waitress who’s drawn to a vampire (Stephen Moyer, The Starter Wife) who arrives in her small Louisiana town.

Whatever! I think both Jennifer’s Body and True Blood suck.

   The man-hater theme could sell it–along with Fox and Cody’s dialogue, which is not being used as a selling point in the trailer, for whatever reason. It also looks genuinely scary. I’m convinced Raimi’s super-smart Drag Me to Hell would have done BETTER with an R-rating. It confused people as both soft and comedic.
