Titanic 3D

A little bit over a decade ago, Titanic became a real box office smasher with girls crying their eyes out watching Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet try to survive the disaster.

It was so 1997.

Titanic‘s Oscar-winning director James Cameron is eying the film’s major digital makeover. He said he wanted to “dimensionalize” the blockbuster and turn it into one of the most impressive 3D movies the world has ever seen, MTV reported.

Cameron is inspired by his 3D flick Avatar and plans to re-release Titanic 3D sometime in 2011.

   first, I’m a man and I remember the whole Titanic phenomenon and being just as caught up as everyone else. It was probably the most intense cinematic experience I’ve ever been a part of and I will absolutely be there opening night to experience it again (and probably again and again)in 3d!

    To whoever said that there is a Titanic 2, unless you mean this 3D Titanic, it is impossible for there to be a second one, BECAUSE THE SHIP SANK!
    If you’d like to bring the ship up from the ocean and film your own Titanic 2, have fun!

    I always thought it’s a pity that I had not seen ‘TITANIC’ in cinema when it was released 1998. but i was freakin’ 8 years old back then ^^ finally my dream will come true and i can watch it on big screen. (though i have seen this film thousand times already)
    i can’t wait!!!!!!!

    TITANIC is my favorite movie of all time and im blown away that Cameron wants to make it into 3D. if he does then i will definetly be there opening night, i wouldnt miss that for the world. i was in elementary school when it came out and fell in love with the movie and my Leo when i was 13…im obsessed:D

    I was only 7 when it came out in theaters…so see it in 3D my goodness I will be there opening night and I will see it again and again! I CANT WAIT! It will defenly make Titanic #1 again at the box office…..it will take back its all time gross! :)

    Hi im Hadi again from indonesia. . .u know? Im a titanic lover, everiday i hear the song, i always see titanic website every day too. . And i heard Titanic will re release in 3D since july 2009 . Every day i wait Titanic 3D . . . And isnt it come in 2012? ? I doubt with people say it come in 2011. . Coz in 2012 it’s 100th anniversary of the sinking Titanic .     I just want to say that there will be a titanic 2. But it’s not about the Titanic but jack. because he wasn’t dead. 2 scientists find him under water in an ice block, they will pick him up and freezing out Jack! And with great surprise he is still alive but of course it’s been so many years later after the Titanic sank so he sits in the city.     oh my god, i can’t believe it. You bet i’m gonna see Titanic in 3D, I love this movie is the best, funny, epic, action and it’s just so beautiful it makes you wanna be on the ship. When i heard Titanic 3D i couldn’t believe it. Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet are awesume actors and seeing Titanic on the big screen would be like a dream come true.
