Titanic 3D gets release date
After major 3D treatment Titanic is getting back on the big screen. To mark the 100th anniversary of the ship’s one and only voyage as well as 100th anniversary of Paramount Pictures, director James Cameron is going to release Titanic 3D on April 6, 2012.
There’s a whole generation that’s never seen Titanic as it was meant to be seen, on the big screen. And this will be Titanic as you’ve never seen it before, digitally re-mastered at 4K and painstakingly converted to 3D,” James Cameron said in the statement. “With the emotional power intact and the images more powerful than ever, this will be an epic experience for fans and newcomers alike.”
I haven’t seen Titanic since 1997 when it was first released. Titanic in 3D is going to be a whole new experience and I’m kind of looking forward to seeing the young Leo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet again, this time in 3D.
If you’re also excited about the 3D re-release, don’t plan anything special for April 6, 2012!
