Sex And The City Prequel

In February, it was rumored that another one Sex And The City Hollywood movie would probably be shot. However this time the famous foursome won’t be played by Sara Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon. The new movie is planning to be a prequel, and that’s why the younger counterparts will replace the regular Sex And The City stars. At the beginning of this year, Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively was “gossiping” she would play young Carrie. However this was refuted by the recent news.

So, here is the list of actresses who will work on the Sex And The City prequel project: Selena Gomez, Blake Lively, younger sister of Olsen twins Elizabeth Olsen and Julia Roberts’ niece Emma Roberts. Let’s guess who will star who? Selena Gomez will definitely play conservative young Charlotte.

Blake Lively has already been known as the young Samantha. Despite I would prefer Emma Roberts as young Samantha, the actress will create the image of Miranda.

And the major role of Carrie Bradshow goes to…Elizabeth Olsen.

Candice Bushnell, Sex And The City writer, confessed,

Every character has a back-story – what the reader sees, in a sense, is the tip of the iceberg. The characters don’t exist in a vacuum – when we first meet them… in their Thirties and single in New York – they are, in a sense, in the middle of their stories…We see different sides of the characters, which make them much more complex and interesting.

However Kristin Davis and some fans don’t feel such an enthusiasm about the prequel.
