Sarah Jessica Parker joins Valentine’s Day sequel, New Year’s Eve
Sarah Jessica Parker has joined the all-star cast of New Year’s Eve, a sequel to last year’s Valentine’s Day.
And I’m asking her, WHY?
I don’t think there’s necessity to have a sequel at all. Valentine’s Day was pretty successful in the box office but mostly because of the cast and not the story. It’s a one-time-is-enough movie and I don’t think the new star cast of Robert De Niro, Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Biel, Halle Berry, Zac Efron, Lea Michele, and reportedly Justin Bieber, will be able to save the movie from becoming a major box office flop.
Having such adorable twins to take care of, can’t Sarah think of something else then wasting her time on projects like this? (However, she’s so used to doing so with all those SATC movies).
Just like Valentine’s Day, New Year’s Eve will follow the lives of several couples and singles who all intertwine over New Year celebrations. The movie is set for release on December 9th this year.
