Lauren Conrad a big screen LA Candy?
Holy crap! I can’t believe they did it!
According to Variety, Temple Hill Entertainment has acquired screen rights to bring Lauren Conrad’s debut novel L.A. Candy to the big screen.
Yes, the book has been the top 1 on New York Times‘ bestsellers list for 14 weeks but that doesn’t mean we want to see it as a movie, guys!
From reality TV starlet to a bombing fashion designer and now “successful” writer, Conrad is eager to add the executive producer and screenwriter assistant titles to her impressive resume. Lauren’s Blue Eyed Girls Productions company will stand behind the project.
Doesn’t it remind you the Olsen-twins thing?
So, if you’re interested in a mediocre story of a 19 year old girl who comes to LA to become an actress but ends up in a reality TV show to discover how hard it is to live in the public eye, hurry up to get your ticket for the movie.
