Bieber wanted for ‘Valentine’s Day’ follow-up
This teen singer is such a huge star these days that Warner Bros. wants him to join one of their romantic comedies next year.
According to Valentine’s Day director Garry Marshall, the studio is working on the follow-up to the movie and is keen to get Justin Bieber in the project.
The funny thing is that Mr. Marshall doesn’t even know who he is!
I hear they keep mentioning this Justin Bieber,” Marshall said. “I have no idea who that is. Perhaps I’d better see who he is, so when he arrives on set, possibly [we can talk]. So we’ll see.”
Valentine’s Day follow-up is tentatively titled New Year’s Eve and is set for December 9, 2011 release.
The movie will follow Valentine’s Day patern and have a similar cast of a number of stars. However, Marshall claims that the movie will not feature those stars who played in Valentine’s Day. The all new cast has not been set yet, the director added.
I work well with women… And I like making them funny, but we’ll see who we get,” Garry Marshall noted saying that he’d be happy to see Halle Berry and Reese Witherspoon among the new cast.
New Year’s Eve will probably start shooting in NYC in September this year.
